For those that follow my blog and are monitoring the progress on my new book, Tempting Ginger, recently I have been dropping hints about some big things that are happening on this project.
First, let me thank everyone that has asked questions and shown interest in my new project. There are certain people that have been really supportive of everything I have done so far and for that I am extremely grateful.
Honestly, I'm scared to release this book to the general public. I've never written fiction before, and I don't know how well people will relate to my style or sense of humor. I don't do romance in real life (poor Jennifer, I know...), yet I am tackling the subjects of love and romance in my new book. I guess the world will either embrace what I have put out for consumption or they will throw it back in disgust. I am sincerely hoping that it is the former and not the latter.
Of course, it can also take a while for people to figure out they like something. The rock group Queen released 3 albums before "Bohemian Rhapsody" made them superstars. Other popular artists, such as Phil Collins and Eric Clapton, were part of a band before becoming successful solo acts. In other words, sometimes the world says, "Oh, hell no." and throws back what you have offered them only to embrace it later.
So yes, after 4 years and 4 different projects, I'm taking my swing for the fences. I'm really proud of my efforts on Tempting Ginger, and I have spent more time on this project than anything else I have ever done. I'm also announcing to the world that I want your opinion on how well I did with it. I have decided that I'm going to do a Q&A session for my friends and fans. I want to have a launch party as well. I guess what I'm trying to say it that it's time to go big or go home.
Until next time,
