As you can imagine, I have been busier than all get out lately working on the book and finalizing the cover for release. Today's update is really just some quick housekeeping items.
The cover is finished for the eBook and the paperback. Will I do an audiobook? Time will tell. Creating an audiobook is expensive and time consuming. If Tempting Ginger sells well, then it is something to explore in the future.
Thank you for all the votes and the kind words about the covers. The cover contest wasn't even close. Most people picked the cover above, so that is what we will roll with going forward. I personally love your choice as it was my favorite too!
I am working out the details on a launch party. Not sure whether it will happen or not yet, but I love the idea of signing my book for all the friends and family that are supporting me. Jennifer is being amazingly supportive of the idea as well and has offered her opinions and expertise on food and entertainment. I will keep you posted, but I love the idea.
I have finished editing and re-writing the first three chapters. They are now complete and closed. I have about 250 more pages to edit, as well as a bit more to write. I have begun closing the story now, so things are coming to an end in that regard. The book should hopefully be completed by the first part of March.
Many will ask why I am waiting to release until May of 2019 if the book will be finished in March. The short answer is research. I have to kind the right keywords and phrases to get my book noticed on Amazon. Additionally, there is a pre-order period for existing fans of mine (you can follow me on Amazon by clicking "follow the author" under any one of my books).
Finally, thank you. This has been an incredible journey for me, and I want to thank you for your patience and support throughout this process. I never even imagined writing a book 5 years ago, and now book #3 is coming out. I also have 2 "quick help" guides that I have published. All in all, publishing 5 pieces of work in 4 years time is pretty good I think.
Until next time,
